This Slow Cooker Lasagna Ravioli recipe takes the hassle out of making traditional lasagna by using frozen cheese ravioli instead of lasagna noodles. Its a quick and easy meal that the whole family will love.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
- 1 14
- 5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 25 oz package frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
With the heat on medium, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a skillet until the beef is browned and the onion is soft
Get rid of extra fat
Add the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, along with the marinara sauce
Add a little bit of the meat sauce to the bottom of the slow cooker
Put some frozen ravioli on top of the sauce
Add some mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top
Do this again, and then put cheese on top to finish
Cover and set the heat to low
Cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until the ravioli is soft and fully cooked
If you want, add fresh basil leaves as a garnish before serving
