Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract
Mix until well combined
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Be careful not to overmix
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely
Once cooled, slice and serve
