Easter Birdy Cake Pops

These tasty cake pops in the shape of birds are a charming way to celebrate Easter. Ideal for bringing a whimsical touch to your dessert table for the holidays

Ingredients:

• 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice
• 1/2 cup of frosting flavor that complements the cake
• 1 package of candy melts multiple colors
• 1/4 cup of sprinkles
• 24 lollipop sticks
• Edible markers
• Candy eyes
• Mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely

Crumble the cake into fine crumbs using your hands or a food processor

Add frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until it forms a dough-like consistency

Shape the cake mixture into small egg-shaped balls and place them on a lined baking sheet

Melt the candy melts in separate bowls, following the package instructions

Dip the lollipop sticks into the melted candy and insert them into the cake pops

Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, covering it completely, and allowing any excess to drip off

Before the candy coating sets, decorate with sprinkles to resemble bird feathers

Place two candy eyes on each cake pop using a small amount of melted candy as glue

Use edible markers to draw beaks and other details on the cake pops

Insert mini chocolate chips into the cake pops to create wings
