Its easy to make these vegan corn tortillas, which are great for tacos, enchiladas, and any other dish that tastes like Mexican food. They are gluten-free and only need three things to make them.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups masa harina corn flour
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine masa harina and salt
Gradually add warm water and mix until dough forms
Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth
Divide the dough into small balls, about golf ball size
Place each ball between two sheets of parchment paper or plastic wrap
Press down on each ball to flatten into a tortilla shape using a tortilla press or heavy skillet
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat
Carefully transfer each tortilla to the skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned and cooked through
Repeat with remaining dough balls
Serve warm and enjoy
