This fusion sushi roll has flavors of California with its creamy avocado, crunchy cucumber, and salty crab meat. Its great for a light lunch or an appetizer.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups sushi rice
- 4 sheets nori seaweed
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1/2 lb cooked crab meat
- Soy sauce, for dipping
- Wasabi, for serving
- Pickled ginger, for serving
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice, then let it cool
On a bamboo sushi mat, put a piece of nori
Leave an inch of space at the top of the sushi rice and spread it out thinly over the nori
Put the crab meat, avocado, and cucumber in the middle of the rice
Using the bamboo mat to roll the sushi tightly, seal the edge with water
Cut the sushi roll into small pieces that you can easily eat
Do it again with the rest of the ingredients
Put it on the plate with pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi
